Through the Lens of the Traveler

  • Friday, Jan. 20 - Friday, Feb. 10
  • Featuring photos from Ghana, Ireland and Mexico, as well as photos, journals and artwork from Ecuador.
  • Co-Sponsored with Dan Colleran from the Center for Global Education
  • Reception: Tuesday, Jan. 24, Time: 3:00 - 4:30pm

Here, There, and Elsewhere: Refugee Families in Milwaukee

  • Wednesday, Feb. 15 - Monday, March 5
  • A photo documentary providing a window into the daily lives of some of the newest - and least familiar - Americans.  Countries include Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, Sudan, Burundi, Somalia, and Eritrea. 
  • Reception: Monday, Feb. 20, Time: 4:30pm - 6:00pm

The Living Mississippi: From Twain to Today

  • Friday, March 9 - Wednesday, April 4
  • Historic photographs of the Mississippi River that is juxtaposed with modern photographs of river restoration projects completed by non-profit group, Living Land, Living Waters.  Quotes from Mark Twain's prose link the river's past with the present.  The exhibit is a partnership with UW-Whitewater's Earth Day Committee and our community's 4th Big Read.
  • Reception: Monday, March 12, Time: 3:30pm - 5:00pm
  • Guest speaker Joel Tanis in Summer's Auditorium, 4:00pm - 5:00pm
  • Co-Sponsored with community Big Read and the Earth Day Committee 

Arthouse Gaming

  • Monday, April 9 - Friday, April 27  
  • Featuring traditional form related art and non-traditional, byte-sized independent games designed by regional media artists. 
  • Reception: Monday, April 16, Time: 5:00 - 6:30pm 
  • The Reception will coincide with the Fifth Annual UW-Whitewater Play Expo. Games submitted in Roberta's Art Gallery will be included in the Play Expo.

"Best of the Best" Juried Art Show

  • Tuesday, May 1 - Friday, May 11  
  • Featuring artwork from UW-Whitewater students who received an award from the Crossman Gallery Annual Juried Art show. 
  • Reception: Wednesday, May 2, Time: 4:30 - 6:00pm
