The UW-Whitewater 10 lane bowling center is located within the UC Rec Center. The bowling center is available to all UW-W students, faculty, staff, their families and guests of UW-Whitewater. The bowling lanes are certified by the United States Bowling Congress every year.
Some of the bowling related events that happen are:
- Open bowling ($2.00/game)
- PE classes (beginning and intermediate levels)
- Intramural leagues
- Bowling Club (men's traveling team)
- Women's Varsity Bowling Team

Classes are conducted at the UC Rec Center through the department of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Coaching (HPERC) for .5 credit. Beginning and intermediate classes meet twice per week for eight weeks. The emphasis of the classes are to provide students with the skills and understanding of bowling as a lifetime recreational sport. Most importantly, bowling classes are designed for students to enjoy the sport and have a good time! Students are should look in the HPERC section of the undergraduate timetable for classes.
