Wireless Access
The University Center was one of the first buildings on the UW-W campus to offer wireless internet access. Using a laptop computer with a wireless network card, students and staff can now access the internet and its vast resources.
To access the wireless network, users must have their laptop configured according to the campus standards. Instructions for configuring your laptop for the campus network are available from the UW-W Instructional Communication and Information Technology (iCIT) website or by contacting the iCIT Help Desk, 472-4357.
Laptop Rental
The University Center offers laptop computers for check out to students, faculty and staff to use within the UC. Six laptop computers, configured for use with the campus wireless network, are available for check out on a first come, first served basis from Information Services, UC main lobby.
